    Open innovation can be highly succesfull in cases of organisations that have exsisted for a long time and have a strong internal team. The internal team should have good idea about the capabilites of the organization and use it as a filter to screen the numerous incoming ideas and select the ones that can be attained with the firms capabilites. In some cases we can also hear transformational ideas which the internal teams have not thought of due to the limitations of the organizational culture. These ideas should be explored thoroughly before they are discarded.
