  1. Armando,

While I would suggest you use Brightidea.com for this, because of a lot of reasons, one being I am the owner of the company ;) the only opensource project I know in this space is: http://www.ideatorrent.org/download

    Good Luck,
    Vincent Carbone
    Brightidea.com

  2. Armando,
Is it more important to you that it's opensource or that it's for free? If you're looking for a free one i might come up with a short list..

    cheers,
    isabel

      Hi Isabel,

I'm entering late on this forum but I haven't seen your short list of free idea management software. Can you give me such a list?

      greetz,
      Pieter

  3. Dear Armando,
also have a look at BBYIDX (http://bbyidx.com). It is the software behind the "Best Buy IdeaX" idea crowd-sourcing platform (http://bestbuyideax.com) that was released as open source code (AGPL). I just came across it and haven't checked it out myself yet.

    Cheers,
    Christoph

  4. Another, rather young open source idea management tool is ideaL (http://drupal.org/project/idea), which comes as a Drupal extension as well (like IdeaTorrent).

  5. What about commercial opensource idea management tools (as well as bug reports, questions and praises) ?

    UseResponse – http://www.useresponse.com – self-hosted PHP/MySQL customer feedback/idea management solution.

@Oleg Maximoff, I have just noticed UseResponse now offers free plan. Time to give it a try! Thanks.
