Yes, a great presentation … and, more than that, a great brand story … full of drama, facts, imagery, antagonists, exposition, strong visual images, plot, and more. Jobs kept the audience engaged every step of the way. As a storyteller, it's clear he was enjoying delivering the narrative, knowing where he was taking the audience, and setting everyone up for the big finish. Lots to be learned here on how to promote a brand through narrative that's memorable, engaging and energizing. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful introduction to what is arguably one of the best commercials ever made, though it wasn't aired all that much. Jobs didn't need a deck when he had what was at the time the most expensive commercial ever made, directed by Ridley Scott, who had just finished filming Blade Runner and was at the top of his game.

Nevertheless, he masterfully led the audience to the trough and didn't have to make them drink. The clearly enjoyed the ride. Indeed, there are lessons to be learned from this preso, not the least of which is the power of storytelling. I remember this commercial from its airing during Superbowl XVIII and still have a seat cushion with the Apple logo on it I got when I attended Superbowl XIX in 1985. Thanks for sharing, Stefan.
