I frequently visit Singapore, and I have given talks or done consulting work in China, South Korea and Malaysia. I think Asia has a great future, but I keep wondering why we do not hear more about open innovation in the region.
Some of the questions I ask myself:
Which companies embrace open innovation? Do they have any cases to share?
Which service providers are active in Asia developing services for local needs and languages?
What are the key barriers for open innovation in the respective Asian countries given that they are all different?
Do Asian companies have some advantages on open innovation compared to Western companies?
How much impact do the Asian governments have on the implementation of open innovation in the private sector?
It would be great to hear your perspectives on these questions.
